For homeowners considering multiple energy upgrades and applying for the One Stop Shop service, a home energy assessment will provide both a BER rating and the required technical report detailing the energy upgrades needed to get your home to a B2 rating and better.

A Home Energy Assessment gives you all the information you need to begin your home energy upgrade journey to a B2 rating or better. It provides you with a list of recommended energy upgrades for your home and an estimate of the likely costs, helping you decide what approach is best for you.

Once you have had your Home Energy Assessment you can decide whether to invest in the home energy upgrades that are recommended in your report. You are under no obligation to proceed with those energy upgrades.

You may decide to carry out just one or two energy upgrades and apply for an Individual Energy Upgrade grant or go to a One Stop Shop and obtain a quote for a full retrofit upgrade.
